Prayer Room Update

as-Salaamu ‘alaykum Wa Rahmatullaah Wa Barakaatuh

As of Saturday, the 6th of June, the prayer rooms at Latrobe University will be unavailable for any use. Insha Allah, there is an extension being done and will take about the whole of next semester, so a few important notices for everyone insha Allah:

In regards to Jumu’ah (friday) prayers - We have been given a room each week to perform the Jumu’ah khutbah, the timetable can be viewed here: http://www.latrobe.edu.au/guild/prayer-room.html (It is also attached). Also, there are print outs of the timetable which will be given out at the khutbah tomorrow insha Allah. Regular jumu’ah prayers will continue throughout the year insha Allah, and will still begin at 1.20 insha Allah.

In addition, for regular daily prayers, we’re still finding temporary prayer rooms, but insha Allah for the mean time, the brothers and sisters can look into praying downstairs in the HUED rooms and also across the tutorial rooms from the prayer room – which is the journalism building. Before praying in any of the rooms, please make sure that the rooms are empty first, because we don't have them booked as yet.
