After much delay: Conference on Islamic Finance and Investment - August 23rd

As-Salaam Alaykum,

As promised at the end of the Palestine Conference which brought about the foundation of the Australian-Muslim Palestine Committee, a committee whose work is well under way Alhamdulilah, the next community focus will be Islamic Finance. After much research and discussion with global banking corporations in the last two months, the work is finally bearing fruit.

This conference will discuss the problems, options and solutions that face Australian Muslims in the way of finance, home-ownership and investment. Proposals will be discussed, panels will be formed and everyone will have a chance to explain their point of view. Mashayekh, Islamic Finance Specialists and Financial Advisors will be brought from all over Australia insha'Allah to answer the hard questions.
